The Truth About Rip Off Report
Out of thousands of great customers since 1975 and over 100 great customers in 2008 and 60 plus great customers from 2009 and 2010 so far, several past 2008 customers elected not to work with us through this economic downturn and great recession back in 2007-2008. All of these several 2007- 2008 customers projects were professionally finished by our company but two elected to affiliate themselves with a web site owned and managed by a convicted felon Ed Magedson, who helps fabricate or doesn’t verify negative content posted on his site, won’t take the information off even if proven, as in this case, to be completely false and fabricated. Two of those past 2008 customers have attacked us, one repeated times on this site and others because they did not have patience and refused to work with us through the downturn, which is all they had to do, most of our other customers DID work with us through the initial waves of the recession. The information that these two past 2008 customers and Ed Magedson have posted about us is completely false and fabricated in all ways. After posting negative reports on his site the sites owner, Ed Magedson and his staff then solicits and attempts to extort large sums of money from the victims to “repair their reputation.” Just look at the bottom of any ROR page, the link is there they just dont tell you, you will be solicited for money. I know because he has tried this with me and thousands of others. Mr. Magedson, this sites owner, has hundreds of law suites filed against him in just about every State in this country and is a convicted felon. This past 2008 customer, Vincent Taylor knows who he's dealing with in Ed Magedson, he has chosen this site because he knows what he is saying is not true and they don’t verify anything, they just post what people like him or Magedson the site owners staff or he creates. This past customer, Vincent Taylor knows who he’s dealing with on this web site, he used to be an attorney, and chooses to affiliate with him anyway, and has done it multiple times on the same site. We would be glad to send you a line by line response with supporting documentation proving everyone of these statements from a few 2008 projects on Ed Magedsons and one other on line site (by the same people) totally false and fabricated in all ways and showcasing the selfish, mean spirited reasons why they were written. I have not responded recently on Ed Magedsons site because we have learned since our first on line response last year who and what he is especially after we were solicited a few months ago by Ed Magedson and his staff to join his "corporate advocacy program, to repair our reputation" of course for money, which is of course extortion. If you read these fabricated reports on Ed Megedsons site by these two impossible 2008 customers who know each other scroll down start from the bottom of the page since this is where all the current updated reports are.
The old fashion method of thoroughly checking references, taking referrals from friends neighbors and relatives who really do care about you and your best interests, actually coming out and inspecting current projects works best. Any builder can show you a project they did years ago but current projects will reflect the current trades that will be actually working on your project not the trades they had a few years ago. Most builders change their trades regularly, especially during a recession, this change is usually to less expensive, less skilled trades which usually translates into bad, substandard work and is not in your best interests, this never happens with our company, the trades are key. Talking to customers in their homes of recent projects face to face next to the builders work works best, you can’t get that from on line sites that don't verify content and in the case of the above site owner attempts to extort money from those victimized on its site to " repair their reputation". If possible visit a few of our projects underway to understand the process, see for yourself the quality of the trades, talk with our customers about the trades, how things are coordinated, the materials, workmanship and quality behind and on the finished walls and talk with the customers as the work is being done. Please talk with all our current and 99.9% of our past customers, and come and see our work.
Bottom line is from 1975 through today we have had a continuous stream of totally satisfied customers in all ways. We had 15 projects going at the end of 2007 and the beginning of 2008 when the first major wave of this great recession hit with the full force of a title wave and negatively impacted about half of these projects we started before the economic slide. We worked through these projects, the vast majority of our customers worked with us through their projects during the recession, a very few did not, these few 2008 customers became totally impossible to please- regardless of what we did for them or offered them ( we have copies of many emails sent to them with solutions and generous offers, all rejected) , these few 2008 customers were totally impossible to deal with in anyway. These few old 2008 impossible customers began attacking us on line. At the beginning of 2009 we developed new policies and customer protective programs to deal with the new economy such as construction title escrow and performance bonds that we did not have in place in 2007 and 2008 during these few projects talked about on line. None of these issues have occurred since implementing our new programs, polices and procedures. Please talk with all our current customers from 2009 and 2010 during the last 15 Months, all started and completed in 2009 and 2010 LONG AFTER ANY of the few projects negatively talked about on line by those impossible few who refused to work with us back in 2008. They then attacked us by lying about us in everyway they could on line. We have many, many new customers you can talk to who will tell you the total opposite about their experiences with our company. There are also many more of our projects started and completed from January 2009 to April 2010 long after the 2008 projects' talked about on ROR. All our current customers are available to talk with and projects to tour. Please talk with our many, many current customers and 99.9 % of our past customers about our work and their experiences with us. Please do not think these unverified fabrications on a convicted felons and extortionists web site made by an impossible few represent our company in any way. Talk with our current great customers who's major remodeling projects we have completed before, during and long after our past experiences in 2008 with these few very unfair, impossible individuals that know each other and who's projects were started at the same time in 2008 prior to the crash and prior to all our new programs. Ask for proof of ANYTHING they are saying, they wont be able to produce it. One of these few impossible people from 2008 who lives in Highland Park even tried to take his lies and fabricated stories to the local police and log a complaint against us, the police department didn't buy it. I have their statement to us clearing our name because we were able to provide proof that all of what this person was saying is not true. If anyone would like to see the Police Department letter clearing our name we would be glad to send it to you. The other 2008 complainant, Vincent Taylor from Barrington tried to file false complaints against us with the BBB in an attempt to damage our hard earned perfect A+ rating, the BBB didn't buy it either because again we were able to prove what he was saying was completely false and fabricated in all ways. We also have the BBB letter denying Vincent Taylors complaint, closing the case, clearing our name and maintaining our hard earned accredited business A+ rating that we would be glad to send to anyone that would like to see it. For a fair and balanced evaluation please ask ALL of our many, many more current major remodeling clients. over 20 in number, if they even remotely agree with even one of the statements these few 2008 impossible customers have made. If you hear from our many, many current customers for whom we have recently completed major remodeling projects for that they agree with even one point of these fabricated stories on Ed Madegsons site and one or two others, then you should look elsewhere for your design and build services. Please give all our current customers the opportunity to talk to you about our work and please come and see it. You will hear the total opposite of what is on Ed Madegsons and another site by the same few impossible, impatient people working together from 2008. Please don't just take our word for it, We would be proud to have you come and see our work and talk with our customers. Also while you talking to our customers ask them about the quality of our trades and staff, then ask our current trades about these few individuals using Ed Madegsons web site and one other site fabricating negative stories about us, they know these individuals much better than I do and from what I have heard they will be glad to tell you these individuals were total nightmares to work with in all ways while completing their projects. Magedson operates his illegal extortion scam under the guise of “consumer
advocacy” sites - to force innocent companies into paying him to take down his

throughout the U.S. are pursuing Ed Magedson and the rip off report. Known to
draft court service notices since 1992 (long before he started this extortion
